Commissioning:
Slide the hose of the 4-way manifold on the hose connector and secure with wire clips or clamps to prevent slipping. The supply hose to the distributor can be narrowed or bent!
We recommend for longer distances between air pump and pond to lay a central line of PVC pipe and as close as possible to install the manifold at the pond. The longer and thinner the line path, the higher the line resistance, so that more energy is required to overcome the distance and therefore less air gets to where it is needed.
The compressor has no on / off switch and starts working as soon as a power connection is established.
During operation, the compressor must not be too hot, because otherwise these may cause damage to the membrane or the engine. Congestion is almost always caused by a such high back pressure (to close air lines to large immersion depth, clogged vent) or due to insufficient air loss.
You need the underside of the compressor can handle with bare hands during operation forever without getting burned!
One possibility for relief is basically a bypass through which a portion of the air is released into the atmosphere. If this does not help, please check the suction or -filter to narrowing or blockages.

The compressor should never be operated for safety below the water level of the pond or aquarium, otherwise can run at power failure or the compressor water through the air line into the compressor and cause a short circuit there, which can lead to destruction of the motor. Alternatively, you can install a check valve to prevent exactly this effect.
The site should always be chosen so that the compressor is not exposed to the weather. He can stay outdoors, but dry under a cover. Adequate incoming air must be provided.
